Mark Boston

Head of Field Operations

Mark joined Arcus in 2009 as a Regional Facilities Service Manager before being appointed to Zone Facilities Service Manager in 2013. He was appointed Head of Operations in 2014.

Before joining Arcus, Mark was Senior Operations Manager for City Facilities for Asda. He also worked as a Regional Facilities Manager for Alfred McAlpine and Carillion for Sainsbury’s.

Head of Central Operations

Alan joined Arcus FM in 2009 as Head of Management Information. He is now responsible for the Contract Management, Management Information, PPM and Compliance teams.

Before joining Arcus, Alan worked for IBM, Sanmina-SCI, Alfred McAlpine, and Carillion

Mark Arendt

Head of Technical Services

Mark joined Arcus in 2010 as an Engineering Training Manager before being appointed to Head of Technical Services in 2012.

Before joining Arcus, Mark worked for Sainsbury’s, Westward Refrigeration, Space Engineering, SGMS, and AGS in sectors such as Corporate, Health, Education, Leisure and Ministry of Defence. He has also lectured on secondment at Bath University.

Samantha Holmes

Head of Health and Safety

Sam joined Arcus in 2009 as Head of Health & Safety.

Before joining Arcus, Sam worked in H&S and Environmental management in the property, retail and corporate sectors in the UK, Europe and UAE. She started out in Local Authority Environmental Health and moved on to the private sector with companies such as British Airways, Watson & Wyatt LLP, Land Securities and Westfield Shopping Towns.

Parag Gogate

Head of Programme & Quality Management

Parag joined Arcus in 2009 as Performance Manager. He is now Head of Programme Management & Quality.

Before joining Arcus, Parag worked in the Hospitality industry specialising in Operations Management for the Ambassador Group, Hilton Hotels, Pizza Hut and Royal Caribbean Cruises for more than 10 years. Whilst pursuing his MBA from Durham University, Parag joined Larch Consulting where he worked on facilities change projects for Diageo and University of London.

Aidan Leck

Mobilisation & Implementation Manager

Aidan joined Arcus in 2009 as Contract Manager before being appointed to Head of Technical Performance Engineering in 2013.

Before joining Arcus, Aidan worked for Alfred McAlpine, Carillion, IBM and Sanmina SCI.

Derek Conroy

Head of Management Information

Derek joined Arcus in 2009 as Senior Contract Manager.

Before joining Arcus, Derek spent 11 years working in the computer industry with IBM and Sanmina-SCI before working on design and development of electronic equipment for the aviation industry with GEC Avionics in Essex and GEC Sensors in Edinburgh for over 10 years.

Steven Kruger

Facilities Service Manager - Distribution

Steven joined Arcus FM in 2009 as Facilities Service Manager for Distribution.

Before joining Arcus, Steven was Regional Facilities Manager for Alfred McAlpine and Carillion for Sainsbury’s. He has also worked in the Telecoms sector for BT and later with O2 where he was the National FM Operations Manager.

Steve Fabian

Head of FM Direct

Steve joined Arcus through our procurement function and was quickly promoted to manage the Customer First team responsible for the Convenience estate. Through his smart introduction and development of new systems and processes he was promoted to Head of FM Direct in March 2015.

Zone Facilities Services Manager - North

Mark joined Arcus in 2013 as a Regional Facilities Service Manager in the Yorkshire area. Mark has recently moved into his current role of Zone Facilities Service Manager for North.

Before joining Arcus, Mark worked in various positions in the Construction industry, Mark also worked for Sainsbury’s and Asda.

Steven Macartney

Zone Facilities Service Manager - South

Steven joined Arcus in 2010 as a Regional Facilities Manager before being appointed as Convenience Zone Facilities Service Manager in 2012. Steven has recently moved into his current role of Zone Facilities Service Manager for Central.

Before joining Arcus, Steven worked for ISS as Operations Director for the South West. He has also worked for Rentokil and Serco.

Michael Ridgett

People Director

Before joining Arcus Solutions, Michael spent 14 years at Sanofi, a leading global Pharmaceutical company. He joined Arcus Solutions in July 2013 as Head of People moving into the role of People Director in June 2015.

I joined the organisation because it is passionate about the people who work here. We recognise that investing in our colleagues' development and happiness will bring the company our greatest success. I'm responsible for the full People agenda at Arcus Solutions and have overall responsibility for our Learning and Development strategy across the business.

Shaun joined Arcus Solutions as Head of Operations in 2011.

Before joining Arcus Soutlions, Shaun worked for Sainsbury’s through Arcus FM as Senior Regional Facilities Manager for the West and Northern Ireland.

Jay Vekaria

Head of Central Operations

Jay joined Arcus in March 2013 as Head of HSQE.

He is an industry qualified HSQE & Risk Management professional. Before joining Arcus, Jay worked for Ashbury Training delivering and managing large scale bespoke Health, Safety and Compliance training programmes to UK retailers. He has experience in providing HSQE and risk advice in transport, construction, and retail property sectors.

Alister joined Arcus in November 2013 as Mechanical and Electrical technical services manager. Before joining Arcus, Alister spent 20 years working for himself and Weblight on capital projects managing commercial fit out installations.

Ricky Stevens

Operations Manager - East

Ricky joined Arcus in 2012 as Technical Services Manager for Refrigeration and was promoted to Operations Manager for the East in June 2015. Before joining Arcus, Ricky worked for many of the large supermarket retailers through various contractors including Hussmann, Denman and Space Engineering.

Peter Nash

Head of New Business

Pete's career started as an apprentice pipe fitter with Haden Young through 20 years with the company he managed bespoke maintenance contracts across Retail, Petrol-chemical, Data, Single and multi site office complexes, Manufacturing, Health, Schools and Nuclear.

Pete joined Arcus in April 2010 as a Customer Service Manager, bringing with him more than 30 years of maintenance and installation engineering experience. He has worked for Arcus Solutions as a Senior Field Service Manager for the East, responsible for 6 regions including our specialist Drainage Support Team. He is now Zone Facilities Service Manager for the South.

Michael Cranswick

Operations Manager - West

Michael has over 20 years' experience as a service engineer working on a wide range of refrigeration equipment before he embarked on a managerial career with Space Engineering firstly as a Senior Supervisor responsible for 16 engineers, then as Field Service Manager.

Michael joined Arcus in 2011 as Senior Field Service Manager (SFSM) for the West, responsible for 7 regions, offering direction, support and guidance to his engineering team with the aim of achieving operational excellence by identifying field solutions that will improve performance, efficiency and effectiveness. He has recently been promoted to Operations Manager for the West in June 2015.

Operations Manager - Convenience

Dave has been working for Arcus Solutions since 2013 as the Operations Manager specialising in the convenience food retail market within Greater London. Dave brings both knowledge and a wealth of service and managerial experience along with a passion for customer service excellence. Dave’s previous experience includes large retail and domestic contracts.

Ross Delmont

Senior HR Business Partner

Ross joined Arcus Solutions in May 2015 as Senior HR Manager. Ross has 15 years experience in Human Resources and before joining Arcus, he held HR management positions at large organisations in the Pharmaceutical Manufacturing and Facilities Management industries.

Ross holds a Master's degree in Human Resources Management and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
